As 2018 draws to a close, we invite you to take a step back.

It is easy to get caught up in the details of day-to-day life -- or the current news cycle -- and to lose sight of the bigger picture. The bigger picture, though, is exciting. So exciting, in fact, that the Bridge Alliance decided to put it in writing. More specifically, the Bridge Alliance and its member organizations have put together a (partial) overview of the democracy revitalization field.

Be warned, this document is intense. It contains nearly 30 pages of goals, possible next steps, and projects. Every Bridge Alliance member is included in the area of their focus, as well as some non-Bridge Alliance organizations that are doing important work to move our country forward. It’s also incomplete, and in fact it will never be complete. This is a living document and it will be edited, corrected, and expanded as the democracy revitalization field continues to grow. Feel free to offer your edits and additions. This is for all of us.

We want to share this document with you, though, to make something very clear -- there are a whole lot of people and organizations that are doing incredible work throughout the nation. It may feel like nothing is changing, but beyond the 24/7 news cycle and the flashy headlines, this movement -- your movement -- is gaining steam.

We can’t wait to see where we go in 2019.

As always, thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Bridge Alliance Education Fund
