Let’s Just Call It “Conversation Month”
Posted by on April 04, 2018 at 5:34 PM
The National Week of Conversation (NWOC), a project of Bridge Alliance Education Fund, doesn’t start until April 20th, but we don’t feel like waiting. We want to get the conversation started! And what better way to do that then by listening to one of the leaders of civil conversation, Ms. Joan Blades of Living Room Conversations?
On April 5th in Washington, D.C., the Alliance for Peacebuilding -- one of our strategic partners -- will host a conversation with Joan about how Living Room Conversation’s programming is being used to bridge divides in the United States and internationally. You can register to be part of the conversation here. It will start at 3:30 PM and end at 5:00 PM.
If you can’t make it to D.C., you can still start April off right by starting a Ben Franklin Circle. Last year, Bridge Alliance members 92nd Street Y and Village Square used a Bridge Action Grant to host transformative, Ben Franklin Circle conversations across the country. If you haven’t joined one of these Circles, there’s no time like the present!
As always, thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Bridge Alliance
