It’s Time For The National Week Of Conversation! Also A Follow Up Call For Volunteers

We are excited to let you know that the Bridge Alliance’s newest member, the National Conversation Project, is hosting the National Week of Conversation (NWOC) this week!

Before we get to the details, though, we wanted to let you know that the National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) is still looking for volunteers for the Annual Conference on Citizenship (October 17th and 18th). This is an incredible opportunity to hear from leaders of the democracy revitalization movement for free. For more information contact Angela Holden at [email protected] (Note: we gave the wrong email address last time, so if your email bounced back before, try again with this address).

Now back to NWOC! From October 5th through the 13th, bridge-building conversations will be taking place throughout the country. Can’t find a conversation in your area? Host one! There are plenty of ways to get involved, but the time to act is now.

But wait a second, you may be asking yourself, wasn’t there already an NWOC earlier this year? Indeed there was! And you helped make that project a resounding success. In fact, the first NWOC was so successful that it directly led to the creation of the National Conversation Project, which will sponsor NWOCs twice a year and “Listen First Fridays” every month. So get ready to #ListenFirst!

As always, thank you for your support,

Sincerely,

Bridge Alliance Education Fund
