Member organization iCivics is running a campaign called “Democracy At Play,” which is designed to encourage conversations about civics and politics between parents and their kids in a fun, informative, and engaging way. Materials, activities, and games are available in both English and Spanish.
You can take the Democracy At Play civic challenge by clicking here here, and you can read more about it on Romper.com. iCivics hopes you will share your family's experience or join the discussion on social media using #DemocracyAtPlay.
In other news, our members continue to experience growth and success. Better Angels Media has added Samia Mounts and her “Make America Relate Again” podcast to its team. Samia started MARA in order to show the humanity of Trump supporters to people who may not understand them.
Finally, FairVote wasn’t the only member organization seeing progress this election season. Unite America, which is dedicated to electing independent candidates, congratulated Steve Poizner for winning his top two primary for Insurance Commissioner in California. As Unite America notes, Steve could become the first ever independent elected to statewide office in California.
As always, thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Bridge Alliance
