Visit The Fulcrum for nonpartisan news coverage of the democracy reform movement!
Without informed and engaged citizens like you, there is no democracy movement.
From information and ideas comes action in the form of your vote, your thoughtful discussions, your activism and engagement in the democratic process.
Democracy is not a spectator sport!
Recognizing this, the Bridge Alliance and its members are constantly striving to keep you informed. The Bridge Alliance Education Fund does this -- in part -- with the Weekly Update. Many Bridge Alliance members also have newsletters, but newsletters are just the tip of the iceberg. Here are a few new efforts to keep you informed that go beyond newsletters:
- The National Institute on Money in Politics has a brand new tool that allows you to quickly and easily see how much money is being spent on elections in your state, by whom, and how those figures compare to other states.
- Every Sunday, Common Ground Solutions publishes a quiz where you can test your knowledge on American history, policy, and politics. As somebody who follows politics for a living, I can tell you that these quizzes are hard and informative!
- IndependentVoting.org released an interim report on primary voting in America as we head into the 2020 election cycle. The report breaks down the current situation in states with closed primaries, provides a few informative articles, and more.
We also want to congratulate Better Angels for practicing what they preach by inviting a detractor to their podcast.
As always, thank you for your support,
Sincerely,
Bridge Alliance Education Fund
