THE AMERICAN CIVIC COLLABORATION AWARDS

CelebratIng the  Partnerships that Strengthen America

NOMINATE

The Bridge Alliance and Big Tent Nation, organizations committed to the fight against partisan rancor and division, have joined forces to announce the first annual American Civic Collaboration Awards, or the Civvys.

NOMINATION

ABOUT THE CIVVYS

Selectively evaluated by a panel of thought leaders in the civic engagement space, including former members of Congress, key political figures with decades of experience, and academics and thought leaders in civics and politics, the Civvys will highlight best practices in collective impact initiatives that put community and nation before party, ideology and narrow interests.

In an era of division and gridlock, it’s more important than ever to celebrate and support organizations that work toward coming together to improve communities.

By recognizing projects and processes that emphasize collaboration, civility and on-the-ground impact, the Civvys are a powerful means to honor this work and inspire more of it.

Do you know a person or organization whose work:

      • Has a direct impact on the greater community?
      • Uses collaboration, community input and other collective impact principles to make a difference?
      • Embodies civility and mutual respect?

The Civvy Awards are the first national awards program designed to highlight organizations and individuals that leverage collaboration as a key strength in building initiatives that improve communities.

Whether it’s a grassroots neighborhood group working to ensure voting access for all, a nonprofit running a program to improve educational outcomes, a city government arm engaged in participatory budgeting, or a corporate philanthropy initiative aimed at reaching across the aisle -- we’re looking forward to celebrating projects of all sizes and types that utilize best practices in collective impact.
